About the Designer

Whitney Bell is licensed as a Certified Interior Designer in the State of New York and maintains her NCIDQ Certificate and ASID Professional Membership status through continuing education.

From an early age, Whitney’s love for interior design and her exposure to international travel inspired her eclectic sensibility. At just 12 years old, Whitney learned to read architectural plans and construction drawings when her parents built a custom home in her hometown of Reston, VA.

With a life-long gift for creative space planning, Whitney moved to Manhattan, where she obtained an Associate Degree of Applied Science in Interior Design from the New York School of Interior Design. Whitney then began a multi-decade career in luxury residential and commercial design with the firm REGER and then went on to study at the International Center of Photography. Whitney is now embarking on her own to merge her two passions of design and photography.

When outside her design studio, Whitney enjoys natural landscape photography, practicing yoga, volunteering, and visiting art museums and galleries with her husband, Laurence.
